TOUR COSTS AND CONDITIONS
Tour Cost - The price of the described tour includes land costs and airfare on Scandinavian Airlines System, hereafter referred to as SAS, from Wichita, Kansas round trip to Berlin, Germany and return from Frankfurt, Germany to Wichita, Kansas.
Anderson Scandinavian Tours will also work with tour members if they desire to extend their stay in Europe to visit relatives or participate in other tour extensions available; Reservations for these participants must be made early in order to ensure seat reservations as no seats can be blocked off for deviations An additional fee of $ 75.00 per person will be charged for those tour members deviating from group travel. ** Airfare may also be
higher (in addition to the $ 75.00 charge) when deviating from group travel plans.

Other Tour Information - Included in the price of the tour are our services which are as follows:
1) After the required deposit has been made, you will begin receiving information sheets as to what to do to prepare yourselves for the tour.
Tour Transportation - Included in the tour price is transportation within Germany by motorcoach and boat.
Meals - Included in the price of the tour described in addition to the daily German breakfasts, are dinners as indicated by (D) on the itinerary. Meals indicated are prearranged with substitutions available at an extra supplemental charge. ** Tour Participants must purchase their own beverages which are not included in the tour price.
Hotels - Included in the price of the tour are hotels that are High Standard hotels. All hotel rooms on tours include toilet and bath or shower. Departures from hotels are usually at 8:00 a.m.; some deviations may occur. Arrivals at hotels are usually not past 6:00 p.m. and are usually indicated in the itinerary..
Baggage Handling - Baggage Handling is included.
Tour Director/Guide - Included in the cost for the Bethany College Germany’s Highlights Alumni tour are the services of a tour director/guide provided by Anderson Scandinavian Tours in Germany.
Tour Guides and Entrance Fees - Included in the price of the tour are local guide fees and entrance fees to attractions listed in the tour description.
Tips and Taxes - Included in the price of the tour are tips and taxes unless otherwise indicated by your tour director. Gratuities to the driver & tour director are not included.
Insurance - Travel Insurance options will be made available in our first information packet.
Itinerary Variations - During local or national holidays abroad, museums, sightseeing tours and shopping possibilities may be limited. In such instances, and wherever possible, slight itinerary adjustments may be made. If improvement can be made or unforeseen conditions beyond our control deem changes necessary, we reserve the right to vary itineraries.
Deposit - A deposit of $379.00 per person is required, to be made out to Anderson Scandinavian Tours Inc.. Deposits can be then forwarded to Anderson Scandinavian Tours. Payment - Payment of the deposit must be paid for by check, money order or cashier's check.
Cancellations, Refunds and Booking Changes - Any booking changes or cancellations on the land portion of the tour, are subject to a minimum of $ 50.00 per person charge if made 90 or more days prior to departure. If canceling 89-61 days prior to departure a $ 200.00 per person fee will be charged.
If canceling 60 - 31 days prior to departure at $400.00 per person fee will be charged. If canceling 30 days to 01 days prior to departure at $600.00 per person fee will be charged. If canceling after tour commences a $ 900.00 per person fee will be charged.
Airline tickets will be issued approximately 60 days before departure. Once airline tickets have been issued there is no refund on airfare.
Tour Rates - Tour rates are based on rates and tariffs in effect at the time of printing and are based on the value of the U.S. dollar relative to the EURO. Land costs are subject to change dependant on the strength of the U.S. dollar in relation to the EURO Currency.
*** Rates are also subject to government imposed increases and taxes AND also fuel surcharges imposed on Anderson Scandinavian Tours by contracted air carriers or land transportation.
Responsibility - Anderson Scandinavian Tours a subsidiary of Scandinavian Heritage Products Inc. and/or associated and/or affiliated or subsidiary companies are not responsible for accidents, loss, detention, annoyance, delays and expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, force majeure, failure of steamers, trains, motors, planes, or any other means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, disturbances, government restrictions or regulations, discontinuance or change in transit or hotel services, and other cases over which we have no control. As the full responsibility of the operation of the vehicles used for this tour rests with the companies or person engaged in conveying passengers, and said companies of operation, compensation for any mishap must be sought in the country where the accident occurred. The right is reserved to refuse or accept or retain anyone as a member of any tour at any time.
