Change planes at
Copenhagen International Airport, for mid- afternoon arrival in Oslo,
Norway. On arrival in Oslo, transfer to your hotel to check in for two
nights. Free time this afternoon to rest, shop or explore. Of interest on
your own: Akerhus Castle, Munch Museum, Nobel Peace Museum, World War II
Resistance Museum. Dinner at the hotel. |

This morning a guided tour of the exciting Norwegian capital
includes Oslo City Hall, Viking ship and Kon Tiki museums, Vigeland
Sculpture Park and more. This afternoon embark on a cruise of the Oslo Fjord
to see views of Akershus Castle, The Norwegian Opera, Oslofjord's oldest
lighthouse and more. Free time this afternoon. Dinner on your own tonight. |

This morning take the
train to Myrdal to board the famous Flåm mountain train, which descends 2900
feet in 12 short miles to the village of Flåm situated on the Aurlandsfjord.
Continue your travels with a delightful cruise on the beautiful
Aurlandsfjord and Norway’s narrowest fjord, the Nærøyfjord to Gudvangen.
Transfer by bus up the Stalheim Canyon road to the famous Stalheim Hotel for
dinner and overnight. |

Today, travel by bus
over beautiful mountains, through the Hörnadalen Valley to the Lærdal Valley
to visit Borgund Stave Church.
This is the
best preserved of Norway's 28 extant stave churches. Built in the end of the
12th century, it has not changed structure or had a major reconstruction
since that date. The mountain scenery grows more beautiful with cascading
waterfalls, snowcapped mountains and glacier scarred lands as you continue
to Balestrand crossing the Sognefjord at Fodnes and the
Fjærlands fjord at
Hella. Dinner and overnight in Balestrand. |

This morning cruise up the Færlands Fjord to the village of
Fjærland. At Jostedalsbreen national Park, visit the amazing Norwegian
Glacier Center and the Jostedalsbreen glacier arms of Bøyabreen and
Supphellebreen. Established by Royal Decree on 25 October 1991 the park
spans 1230 sq. km, half that is glacier covered, and 90 % is above 800 m
elevation. The Jostedalsbreen is the largest glacier on the European
Continent with an area of 487 km² (188 sq. miles). In mid afternoon return
to Balestrand for dinner and overnight. |

Today’s journey takes you back across the Sognefjord to
Vangsnes. Travel over the Foss Mountain south to the town of Voss. Visit the
Knute Rockne memorial before continuing to the west coast city of Bergen.
The second largest city in Norway, Bergen is thought to have roots as a
trading settlement dating back over a thousand years. Dinner and overnight
in Bergen. |

This morning a tour of this beautiful city includes: the
Hanseatic warehouse district of Bryggen, the famous fish & flower market,
the home and museum of composer Edvard Grieg. Free time this afternoon. Of

Rosenkrantz Tower,
from the 1270s, Damsgård Manor a unique example of wooden rococo
architecture, Bergen aquarium, Bergen art museum, or take the short ride on
the
Fløibanen Funicular
from the city centre to the top of the Fløien Mountain to
view the city, the mountains, the fjords and the sea. Dinner and overnight
in Bergen. |

farewell to Norway. Transfer by bus to Bergen’s Flesland Airport for the
