Travel Tips

a note on the weather...

The weather in the Scandinavian countries can range from the low 50's to 70's in late August and the high 60's to high 80's in June, July and August and even cooler in the majestic Nordic mountains! In December, it will be around 25-35 degrees in Stockholm and 10 degrees cooler on average in Dalarna. On some days the skies will be cluttered with clouds, and on other days it might rain.

It is important to dress appropriately. Wear comfortable shoes in which you can walk with ease.

   on tour guides...

where you will stay...

Anderson Scandinavian Tour packages include bookings at 4-star hotels that offer comfort and excellent service. These hotels are the best. All hotels have private baths or shower.

Rooms in Scandinavia tend to be smaller than in the United States, especially single rooms. Triple rooms are generally a double room with a rollaway bed.

Most hotels in Scandinavia are not air conditioned but this is offset by the mild climate. It is very comfortable.

on transportation...

By water or by land we offer the most comfortable and top of the line transportation. Of course, the mode of transportation depends on the size of the the group and the tour chosen. Most motor coaches are equipped with air conditioning and lavatory. Our drivers are experienced, friendly, helpful and speak English.
